Tony Palermo is the drummer of the rock band Papa Roach. He has been a force in the music industry for years. Behind hits like “Last Resort” and “Scars,” his drumming has helped shape the sound that resonates with fans worldwide. Palermo grew up in the Bay Area of Northern California and started playing drums at 12 years old. He began with his first band, Ten Foot Pole. In 2005, he joined Unwritten Law and is featured on two of their albums: Here’s to the Morning and The Hit List. In 2007, while Papa Roach’s original drummer was on hiatus, the band asked Palermo to fill in on tour, leading to his role as a full-time member in early 2008.
When he’s not on stage with Papa Roach, you’ll find Tony on the golf course. Golf started as an escape from touring but became a serious pursuit. The nature of golf offers a counterbalance to the energy of his drumming career.
